The charge will be captured once your order is confirmed and prepared for shipment. You may see a temporary authorization hold on your account before the final charge is posted. Authorization holds typically clear within 3–5 business days if the transaction is not completed.

Buy Now, Pay Later

Nathan But Net LLC offers a Buy Now, Pay Later (BNPL) option through Shop Pay Installments, powered by Shopify and Affirm. Shop Pay Installments allows eligible customers to split their purchase into four interest-free bi-weekly payments or monthly payments with interest, depending on the order total and terms presented at checkout.

  • Eligibility Shop Pay Installments is available to eligible U.S. customers on qualifying orders. Eligibility is determined by Affirm at the time of checkout and is subject to their credit assessment and approval process.
  • How It Works When you choose Shop Pay Installments, Affirm pays Nathan But Net LLC the full order amount upfront. Your installment repayment relationship is entirely with Affirm, not with us.
  • Interest-Free Option Orders that qualify for four bi-weekly payments of 25% each are interest-free. Longer-term monthly installment plans may include interest as disclosed by Affirm at checkout.
  • Late Fees Nathan But Net LLC does not charge any late fees associated with installment payments. Any fees are charged by Affirm in accordance with their terms of service.
  • Refunds on Installment Orders If you return an item purchased through Shop Pay Installments, your refund will be applied to your outstanding balance with Affirm. Any remaining balance will continue to be due per your installment schedule.

No Card Number Storage
Nathan But Net LLC does not store, transmit, or have access to your full payment card number, CVV code, or PIN at any time. This information is handled exclusively by our certified payment processor in encrypted, tokenized form.
Tokenization
When you save a payment method for future use, your card details are replaced with a secure token — a randomized string with no value outside our payment system — used for future charges without exposing your actual card data.
3D Secure Authentication
We support 3D Secure (Verified by Visa, Mastercard Identity Check, Amex SafeKey). When triggered, you may be asked to verify your identity with your card issuer before your payment is approved — adding another layer of protection against unauthorized use.
Real-Time Fraud Detection
Our payment processor employs machine learning-powered real-time fraud detection on every transaction. Suspicious transactions are automatically flagged and may require additional verification before being approved.

How Charges Work

Understanding exactly when and how your payment is charged helps you manage your finances and avoid confusion on your bank or card statement. Here is a step-by-step explanation of how the payment process works from the moment you click "Place Order."

Authorization Hold
When you click "Place Order," we submit an authorization request to your card issuer or payment provider. This is not a charge — it is a temporary hold that reserves the funds and verifies your payment method is valid. The authorization hold will appear on your statement as "Pending."

Order Review and Confirmation
After authorization, your order enters our processing system. You will receive an order confirmation email within a few minutes. At this stage, you can still modify or cancel your order by contacting us immediately at contact@nathanbut.net.

Payment Capture
Your payment is captured — meaning the actual charge is processed and funds are transferred — when your order is confirmed and prepared for fulfillment. For most orders, this occurs within 1–2 business days of placing your order. The charge will transition from "Pending" to "Posted" on your statement.

Shipment and Confirmation
Once your order has shipped, we will send you a shipping confirmation email containing your tracking number. The posted charge on your account will reflect the final amount, including any applicable taxes and shipping fees shown at checkout.

Statement Descriptor
Charges from Nathan But Net LLC will appear on your statement as NATHANBUT.NET or Nathan But Net LLC depending on your financial institution's display format. If you do not recognize a charge, please contact us before disputing it with your bank so we can resolve the issue quickly.

Currency, Pricing, and Taxes
All Prices Are in U.S. Dollars (USD) All product prices, shipping fees, and charges on nathanbut.net are displayed and processed exclusively in United States Dollars (USD). We do not display or process transactions in any other currency.

The price you see on a product page, in your cart, and at checkout is the price you will be charged. We do not add hidden fees after checkout. The final total shown at checkout — including all applicable taxes and shipping costs — is the complete amount that will be charged to your payment method.

  • Product Prices All listed prices are in USD and include the base cost of the product. Prices are subject to change without notice, but your order will always be charged at the price displayed at the time you placed it.
  • Sales Tax Sales tax is calculated at checkout based on your shipping address and applicable state and local tax laws. Sales tax is collected and remitted in accordance with our obligations as a Texas-based business selling across the United States.
  • Shipping Fees Shipping fees, if applicable, are calculated and displayed at checkout before you confirm your order. Fees vary based on your U.S. location, the shipping method selected, and the weight and dimensions of your order.
  • Foreign Transaction Fees If your card is issued by a non-U.S. bank, your card issuer may charge a foreign transaction fee for processing a USD transaction. This fee is charged by your bank — not by Nathan But Net LLC — and is outside our control. Please check with your card issuer before placing an order.
  • Currency Conversion If your bank account is denominated in a currency other than USD, your bank will convert the charge at the exchange rate in effect at the time of the transaction. Exchange rates fluctuate and we have no control over the rate your financial institution applies.
Price Errors If a product is listed at an incorrect price due to a typographical or system error, we reserve the right to cancel orders placed at the incorrect price. We will contact you before processing and offer the option to proceed at the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

We Currently Ship Exclusively Within the United States
Nathan But Net LLC ships to all 50 U.S. states, Washington D.C., U.S. territories including Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa, and the Northern Mariana Islands. We do not currently offer international shipping to any country outside the United States. We appreciate your understanding and are working to expand our shipping coverage in the future.
International Shipping — Coming in the Future
  • All 50 States We ship to all 50 U.S. states including Alaska and Hawaii. Additional shipping fees and extended delivery times may apply for Alaska and Hawaii due to their remote locations.
  • U.S. Territories We ship to Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa, and the Northern Mariana Islands. Additional shipping fees may apply for territory deliveries.
  • Military Addresses (APO/FPO/DPO) We ship to APO, FPO, and DPO military addresses. Please select "United States" as the country and use the appropriate military address designation at checkout.
  • P.O. Boxes We are able to ship to P.O. Box addresses via USPS. Please note that certain carriers and expedited shipping methods may not deliver to P.O. Boxes.
  • No International Shipping We do not currently ship to Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, the European Union, Australia, or any other country outside the United States and its territories. We apologize for any inconvenience this causes.
International Orders Will Be Cancelled and Refunded If you place an order with a shipping address outside the United States and its territories, your order will be cancelled and a full refund will be issued to your original payment method. Refunds may take 5–10 business days to appear depending on your financial institution.

Declined Payments

Payment declines can occur for a variety of reasons. Understanding the most common causes can help you resolve the issue quickly. Nathan But Net LLC does not receive specific information about why your card was declined — that determination is made solely by your card issuer or payment provider.

  • Insufficient Funds or Credit Your card does not have enough available balance or credit to cover the order total. Please check your available balance or credit limit and try again, or use a different payment method.
  • Incorrect Card Details The card number, expiration date, CVV, or billing address you entered does not match what your card issuer has on file. Please double-check your card details carefully and try again.
  • Card Issuer Block Your card issuer has flagged the transaction as suspicious or has placed a block on online or international transactions. Please contact your card issuer directly to authorize the transaction.
  • Expired Card Your card's expiration date has passed. Please use a current, unexpired card or update your saved payment method and try again.
  • Card Not Enabled for Online Transactions Some cards — particularly prepaid cards — may not be enabled for online purchases. Please contact your card issuer to enable online transactions or try a different payment method.
  • Billing Address Mismatch The billing address you entered does not match the address your card issuer has on file. Please ensure you enter the billing address exactly as it appears on your card statement.
  • Velocity or Fraud Triggers Our fraud detection system or your card issuer has flagged the transaction due to unusual activity. Please contact your card issuer to clear the flag, or reach out to us at contact@nathanbut.net for assistance.
What to Do If Your Payment Is Declined First, try re-entering your payment details carefully. If the issue persists, try a different payment method — for example, PayPal, Apple Pay, Google Pay, or a different card. Refunds and Chargebacks

We want every customer to be completely satisfied with their purchase.   • Refund Method Refunds are always issued to the original payment method used for the purchase. We cannot issue refunds to a different card, account, or payment method than the one originally used.
  • Partial Refunds For orders with multiple items, we may issue a partial refund for specific items returned. The refund amount will reflect the price of the returned item(s) plus any applicable tax. Shipping fees are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error.
  • Cancelled Orders If your order is cancelled before it ships, a full refund will be issued to your original payment method within 1–3 business days.

If your refund has not appeared on your statement after 10 business days from that confirmation, please contact us at contact@nathanbut.net and we will investigate with our payment processor.
Chargebacks

A chargeback (also called a dispute or reversal) occurs when you ask your bank or card issuer to reverse a charge that has already been posted to your account. While you have the right to dispute any charge with your financial institution, we strongly encourage you to contact us first — we can typically resolve issues much faster than the chargeback process allows.

  • Contact Us First Please contact us at contact@nathanbut.net before filing a chargeback. We respond to all emails within 1–2 business days and will work with you to resolve any issue as quickly as possible.
  • Fraudulent Chargebacks Filing a chargeback for a legitimate transaction — for example, claiming you did not receive an order that was successfully delivered to your address — is considered friendly fraud and may result in your account being permanently blocked from nathanbut.net.
  • Chargeback Response We respond to all chargebacks with full documentation including order confirmation, payment records, shipment tracking, and delivery confirmation. We reserve the right to pursue legal remedies for fraudulent chargeback claims.

Fraud Prevention

Nathan But Net LLC takes the prevention of payment fraud very seriously. We use a combination of automated fraud detection tools and manual review processes to identify and prevent fraudulent transactions. These measures protect both our customers and our business.

  • Address Verification System (AVS) We use AVS to compare the billing address you provide at checkout with the billing address on file with your card issuer. Significant mismatches may result in your transaction being flagged for additional review or declined.
  • Card Verification Value (CVV) We require you to enter the CVV code on the back of your card (or the front for American Express) to verify physical possession of the card. CVV codes are never stored after verification.
  • Velocity Checks Our system monitors for unusual patterns such as multiple failed payment attempts, multiple orders from the same IP address in a short period, or orders that significantly deviate from normal purchase behavior.
  • Machine Learning Fraud Scoring Every transaction is assigned a fraud risk score by our payment processor's machine learning system. High-risk transactions may be automatically declined or held for manual review before processing.
  • Order Holds Orders flagged as potentially fraudulent may be placed on hold pending additional verification. We will contact you by email or phone to complete verification. If we are unable to verify your identity, your order will be cancelled and a full refund will be issued.
  • Account Lockouts Accounts associated with confirmed fraudulent activity will be permanently suspended from nathanbut.net. We cooperate fully with law enforcement in all cases of payment fraud.
Report Unauthorized Charges Immediately If you notice a charge from Nathan But Net LLC on your statement that you did not authorize, please contact us immediately at contact@nathanbut.net or call +1 830-481-7667. Please also contact your card issuer to report the unauthorized charge and request a replacement card. We take all reports of unauthorized charges extremely seriously and will investigate promptly.

Yes, we accept Visa and Mastercard prepaid gift cards. However, please be aware that the prepaid card must be registered with a billing address before use, the card must have sufficient balance to cover the entire order total including tax and shipping, and some prepaid cards may not support address verification (AVS) which could cause the transaction to be declined. If your gift card payment is declined, please contact the card issuer for assistance.
Unfortunately, our checkout system does not currently support splitting a payment across two different credit or debit cards. The full order total must be charged to a single payment method. However, Shop Pay Installments allows you to split a single order total into multiple payments over time if your order is eligible.
Once we initiate a refund, the timeline depends on your payment method. Credit and debit card refunds typically appear within 5–10 business days. PayPal refunds are usually returned to your PayPal balance within 3–5 business days. Apple Pay, Google Pay, and Shop Pay refunds go back to the underlying card or bank account and follow the standard card refund timeline of 5–10 business days. We will send you a refund confirmation email as soon as we initiate the refund on our end.
Yes, we collect sales tax on orders shipped to states where Nathan But Net LLC has a sales tax nexus obligation. Sales tax is calculated automatically at checkout based on your shipping address and will be clearly displayed before you confirm your order. All sales tax collected is remitted to the appropriate state and local tax authorities in full compliance with applicable law. We do not profit from sales tax collection.
At this time, Nathan But Net LLC ships exclusively within the United States, including all 50 states, Washington D.C., Puerto Rico, Guam, the U.S. Virgin Islands, American Samoa, the Northern Mariana Islands, and APO/FPO/DPO military addresses. We do not currently ship to Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, the European Union, Australia, or any other international destination. We are actively working on expanding our shipping coverage to international destinations in the future.
