We do not knowingly collect personal information from individuals under the age of 16.

Do We Sell Your Information
Direct Answer No. Nathan But Net LLC does not sell your personal information to any third party for monetary compensation. We have never sold personal information and we do not intend to do so. Your personal information is used solely to operate our store, fulfill your orders, and provide customer support.

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), "selling" personal information includes exchanging personal information for money or other valuable consideration. Nathan But Net LLC does not engage in any such exchange.

However, out of an abundance of caution and in full compliance with the spirit of applicable privacy laws, we have provided the opt-out request form in Section 08 of this page so that any customer who wishes to formally opt out of any potential future sale of their personal information may do so at any time, free of charge, and without any negative consequence to their ability to use our website or services.

Do We Share Your Information

Nathan But Net LLC does not share your personal information with third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising, which is considered "sharing" under the CPRA. We only disclose your personal information to the following categories of service providers for the specific purposes listed, and only to the extent necessary to operate our business.

  • Shopify Inc. — Our e-commerce platform provider, which hosts our website, processes orders, and manages our store infrastructure. Shopify acts as a data processor on our behalf and is bound by its own data processing agreements and privacy standards.
  • Payment Processors — Certified, PCI DSS-compliant payment processors who handle the secure processing of your payment transactions. These processors receive only the payment information necessary to complete your transaction and are not permitted to use it for any other purpose.
  • Shipping Carriers — U.S. shipping and logistics carriers who receive your name and shipping address for the sole purpose of delivering your order to you.
  • Email Service Providers — Service providers used to send you transactional emails such as order confirmations, shipping notifications, and support replies. These providers process your email address solely for the purpose of delivering these communications.
  • Legal and Regulatory Authorities — Government agencies, courts, or law enforcement bodies when we are required by applicable law to disclose your information, or when necessary to protect the legal rights of Nathan But Net LLC or our customers.
Service Provider Obligations All third-party service providers who receive your personal information are contractually obligated to use it only for the specific purpose for which it was shared, to implement appropriate data security measures, and not to sell or further disclose your personal information to any other party without your consent.

Right to Limit Use of Sensitive Information
You have the right to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information to what is necessary to perform the services you requested. We do not collect sensitive personal information as defined under applicable law.
Right to Data Portability

How to Submit a Request

You may submit a privacy request — including a request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information, a request to know what information we hold about you, a request to delete your information, or a request to correct inaccurate information — using any of the following methods.

  • Email — Send your request to contact@nathanbut.net with the subject line "Privacy Request." Please include your full name, email address, and the type of request you are making.
  • Phone — Call us at +1 830-481-7667 Monday through Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM Central Standard Time.

After You Submit You will receive a confirmation email at the address you provided. We will then contact you to verify your identity before processing your request. Submitting a request does not automatically constitute verification. Please check your inbox — and your spam folder — for our follow-up communication.

How We Verify Your Request

To protect your personal information from unauthorized access, disclosure, or deletion, we are required by law to verify your identity before processing a privacy request. We take this obligation seriously and apply a reasonable and proportionate verification process based on the type and sensitivity of the request.

Receipt Confirmation
We will send you an email acknowledging receipt of your request within 10 business days of receiving it. This email will confirm what type of request we received and outline the next steps.

Identity Verification
We will ask you to verify at least two pieces of information that match what we have in our records — typically your name and the email address associated with your account or order. For sensitive requests such as full data deletion, we may require additional verification.

Request Processing
Once your identity has been verified, we will begin processing your request. We will search our records for personal information associated with the verified identity and take the appropriate action in accordance with your request and applicable law.

Response
We will respond to your verified request within 45 calendar days. If we require additional time, we will notify you of the extension and the reason for it before the initial 45-day period expires. We will never take longer than 90 calendar days in total to respond to a verified request.
If We Cannot Verify Your Identity If we are unable to verify your identity with a reasonable degree of certainty, we may be unable to process your request. In that case, we will notify you of the reason and explain any alternative options available to you. We will not deny a request solely for the purpose of avoiding compliance with our legal obligations.
Section 10
Our Response Timeline

We are committed to responding to all verified privacy requests within the timeframes required by applicable law. The following timelines apply to requests submitted by U.S. residents.

  • Acknowledgment — We will acknowledge receipt of your request within 10 business days of receiving it.
  • Standard Response — We will respond to your verified request within 45 calendar days of receipt.
  • Extended Response — If we require additional time, we will notify you before the initial 45-day period expires and may extend our response time by an additional 45 calendar days, for a maximum total of 90 calendar days.
  • Opt-Out Requests — Opt-out of sale or sharing requests will be honored within 15 business days of receipt of a verified request.
  • Free of Charge — We will respond to up to two requests per consumer per 12-month period free of charge. Additional requests may be subject to a reasonable fee as permitted by law.
Excessive or Unfounded Requests If we determine that a request is manifestly unfounded, excessive, or repetitive, we may charge a reasonable fee to cover administrative costs or decline to act on the request. In either case, we will notify you of our decision and the reasons for it, and we will inform you of your right to appeal.

Authorized Agents

You may designate an authorized agent to submit a privacy request on your behalf. An authorized agent is a natural person or a business entity that you have given written permission to submit a request under applicable privacy law.

To submit a request through an authorized agent, the agent must provide us with written authorization signed by you, or provide proof that they have been granted power of attorney in accordance with applicable state law. Even when an authorized agent submits a request on your behalf, we may still contact you directly to verify your identity and confirm that you authorized the agent to submit the request.

Authorized agents may submit requests on behalf of consumers by contacting us at contact@nathanbut.net with the subject line "Authorized Agent Privacy Request." Please include the consumer's name, the consumer's email address, the type of request being made, and documentation of the agent's authorization.

Section 12
Non-Discrimination
We Will Never Discriminate Against You for Exercising Your Privacy Rights Exercising any of the privacy rights described on this page will not result in any form of discrimination, penalty, or disadvantage from Nathan But Net LLC.

Specifically, exercising your privacy rights will not result in any of the following:

  • Denial of goods or services from nathanbut.net.
  • Charging different prices or rates for goods or services, including through the use of discounts, benefits, or penalties.
  • Providing a different level or quality of goods or services to you.
  • Suggesting that you will receive a different price, rate, level, or quality of goods or services as a result of exercising your rights.
  • Retaliating against you as an employee, applicant for employment, or independent contractor for exercising your privacy rights.

We reserve the right to offer loyalty programs, financial incentives, or different prices or rates to customers who have provided their personal information, provided that such programs are not used as a mechanism to penalize customers who choose to exercise their privacy rights.
